Panoramic Chiang Mai Bike Tour

One day Thailand bicycle tour from ฿3250

creating Thailand experiences since 1987!

Discover the way of life in rural Chiang Mai, on this exclusive daytrip. Explore public fresh markets and temples complexes dating back to the early part of the last century. Take in the breadth of Chiang Mai form a temple on the summit, enjoy lunch in a restaurant renowned for its som tam (green papaya salad) and grilled pork. Bike to a teaching temple where grotesque figurines portray evil. Discover everyday life in the farmers and villages along the way.

let the fun begin!
You will be met by your guide team at your hotel, then shuttled north to the countryside around Mae Malai village. Here the crew will fit you to your bike, explain a bit about safety and the day’s activities then head out for adventure. Our ride is almost exclusively along the Liap Khlong, a wandering waterway that brings water to the multitude of rice and vegetable farms along our ride. It also provides a leisurely flat route.

While scenery is a highlight, with rows of towering teak trees lining the road, vast stretches of emerald rice paddies with a backdrop of forested mountains and more, there is an everyday side of Thailand to be discovered. You will be awed by the sweeping view from Wat Phrathat Chom Kitti and explore the old buildings at Wat Mae Tao Hai. You will explore a local fresh market, grazing on a variety of local foods at lunchtime. The ride winds down at Wat Mae Kaet Noi with its grotesque depictions of heaven, hell and sins.

26 Kilometers cycling, all flat (except the visit to Wat Phrathat Chom Kitti, guests can choose to do the challenging climb up or get a ride in the support van).
