whats new at Pedalers

You told us to take a hike. And we did.

Introducing four new walks and treks from Pedalers, Japan’s historical Nakasendo Trail, Hidden Bhutan Walking Tour, Teahouse Trek in the Himalayas in Nepal and A Walk With Maasai in Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Conservation area. Each of these handcrafted adventures incorporates all of Pedalers hallmarks, local expert guides, boutique lodges & safari camps, the best of regional cuisines, full support with an eye towards experiencing the area’s sights, sounds, flavors and lifestyle first hand.

When only the best will do.

Pedalers is proud to introduce luxurious Première adventures at some of our favorite destinations. We’ve carefully selected upscale lodges and inns that reflect the local culture without being too hollywoodesque, that are locally owned and operated yet offer world class service and attention to detail. You also get our signature insider’s point of view focus, with local leaders for your adventure, great local cuisine not western fusion and an itinerary the exposes the everyday life of the country. Première tours are now available in Thailand, Bali, Bhutan, India, Romania and Bermuda.

We’ve been with a lot of biking groups over the years, but I have to say that this was one of the best. It’s nice to travel with a group that really puts thought into what they’re doing, and what can only be called zeal, as well. It was apparent from the first day onwards that they obviously love doing this. They consistently chose interesting, off-the-beaten-path bike routes. They warned us when some inclines might be too challenging, and offered a wide spectrum for our various abilities. They selected restaurants we never would have found on our own, and fed us some of the best food we’ve ever eater anywhere. We mingled with the locals, even playing hacky sack with some village boys, and were given all the time we needed to explore sugary beaches, highly varnished temples, and war memorials. We never felt rushed or pressured, and were encouraged to make our preferences known every step of the way. The lodging was far more luxurious than we expected, yet the whole trip was quite a bit more economical than others we investigated. Really, it was a dream trip from start to finish.   Jamie

Pedalers’ signature Guide Curated Menus® present a delicious sampling of your crew’s favorite cuisine.

Compelling days full of outdoor fun and activity, pedaling, hiking and paddling the byways and rivers of our world. There is no better way to travel, where everyone greets you as a friend not a tourist, shouting a cheerful hello as you pass and devouring hearty meals to recharge you for more fun.
