Pedalers wants you to discover your trip's destination from a local's point of view, taste the best of regional cuisine, explore markets, ruins, villages and more off the beaten tourist path. Your adventure tour should be more than simply cranking some miles on your bicycle, it should open your eyes to the wonders of the lands you visit, let you become part of the family of your local support staff, to come home with more than just a few Instagram posts.

You have a myriad of options to immerse yourself in a new culture, while enjoying healthy outdoor activities and relaxing in delightful lodges each night. Come discover the wondrous Perigord cuisine while canoeing past chateaux along France's Dordogne River. Bike across Southern Thailand tasting a hundred Thai dishes you have never of. Walk the paths of ancient Japan following in the footsteps of emperors and bedding down in traditional ryokans. Join the last hunter gather tribe in Africa for their morning search for food, before cycling the wildlife filled plains of Tanzania.

Tours with an Insider's Perspective

you, family and friends

Like ourselves, you know you're not one to sit around, but someone who wants to get out there and discover the world. As the world opens back up, caution is still foremost in people's minds. But what better way to travel in a social distancing fashion than by bike, canoe or foot. And doing it with a small group of friends and/or family is the icing on the cake.

Any of Pedalers unique adventures can be run exclusively for your group or we can customize the perfect getaway for you and your gang. And with a group of only 4 people, your private date tour costs the same as a scheduled departure. No small group tiers or surcharges, plus no fees if you find you need to change your dates later.

We’ve been with a lot of biking groups over the years, but I have to say that this was one of the best. It’s nice to travel with a group that really puts thought into what they’re doing, and what can only be called zeal, as well. It was apparent from the first day onwards that they obviously love doing this. They consistently chose interesting, off-the-beaten-path bike routes. They warned us when some inclines might be too challenging, and offered a wide spectrum for our various abilities. They selected restaurants we never would have found on our own, and fed us some of the best food we’ve ever eater anywhere. We mingled with the locals, even playing hacky sack with some village boys, and were given all the time we needed to explore sugary beaches, highly varnished temples, and war memorials. We never felt rushed or pressured, and were encouraged to make our preferences known every step of the way. The lodging was far more luxurious than we expected, yet the whole trip was quite a bit more economical than others we investigated. Really, it was a dream trip from start to finish.

Discover Pedaler's signature "Guide Curated Menus". Your guides will introduce you to eateries that feature the best regional dishes and suggest a selection of unique delights for your tasting each night. Discover treats you would have never found in a guidebook or in an influencer's posts.

You will travel with expert local guides.

Nearly every one of our guides is local to the region they lead tours in. Unlike foreign guides that get flown in by international companies, our guides treat you to local delights they themselves treasure. In Bhutan, Tashi takes his guests to visit his grandmother’s farm in the country. In Thailand, Yai takes her guests to her favorite local escape — a secret hot spring nestled in the mountains, known only to the small tribal village that lives nearby.

On a Pedalers tour, you’ll soon discover that your guide isn’t just a navigator — they’re a direct line into the culture, cuisine, and spirit of the land you’ve chosen to explore.
